A thunderstorm brought 3/4-inch hail to the Tuolumne Meadows area of Yosemite National Park for a 5-minute period after 1720 PDT. Accompanying the hail was heavy rain with an accumulation of 2.5 inches that subsequently led to Highway 120 being closed for over 1 hour in order to clear mud and debris.
