Rip Current in American Samoa, June 15 to 17, 2000
Another high surf episode generated strong rip currents in many bays and inlet as another intense low pressure area made its way eastward from New Zealand. Surf of 15 to 20 feet again bounded south shores of the territory from Thursday to Sunday.
