A squall line of strong to locally severe thunderstorms moved through Sussex County and knocked down several trees and power lines in and around Georgetown. An unseasonably warm air mass and a strong cold front conspired to produce a line of strong to locally severe thunderstorms across southern Delaware.

An unseasonably warm air mass and a strong cold front conspired to produce a line of strong to locally severe thunderstorms across southern Delaware. Preceding this line, the high temperature soared to 70 degrees in Georgetown.
