Flooding in Colorado, May 4 to 5, 1999
Excessive runoff from the previous days' storm caused a breach in an earthen dam along Crow Creek near Hereford. Several homes along the creek, between the dam and Briggsdale, were flooded.

Excessive runoff from the previous days' storm caused a breach in an earthen dam along Crow Creek near Hereford. Several homes along the creek, between the dam and Briggsdale, were flooded. As a precaution, some of the residents were evacuated until the threat of flash flooding diminished.
