The Burney LCA incident contained 36 fires which burned 118 acres. The fires were all caused by dry lightning and were enhanced by 20 to 40 mph winds on the 28th and 29th. No injuries or deaths were reported. Fire suppression costs added up to $175,000 for the week long event.
