During the early evening on the 20th, a severe thunderstorm developed over western portions of Cottle County. Strong winds 5 miles west of the town of Paducah blew down a grain bin and damaged a trailer home.

During the early evening on the 20th, a severe thunderstorm developed over western portions of Cottle County. Strong winds 5 miles west of the town of Paducah blew down a grain bin and damaged a trailer home. Several trees were also blown down. Half dollar-sized hail was observed in this location. The Paducah Fire Department later reported this storm produced dime- to quarter-sized hail which covered the ground in town.
