A microburst damaged a grain elevator and cotton gin, destroyed 2 empty grain silos, and damaged numerous roofs and carports across the community of Miles. One exterior wall of a house was penetrated by a two-by-four from a carport damaged nearby. Wind speeds were estimated at 80 mph.
A barn suffered roof damage and a shed was partially destroyed.
High winds downed 10 to 12 power poles.
