Summary of events for May 15 1998:A line of strong to severe thunderstorms that originally developed over the Texas panhandle moved eastward into Osage and Pawnee Counties around 600 AM CDT on the morning of May 15. This line quickly swept across northeast Oklahoma to the north of I-44 as an upper level system moving northeastward from New Mexico interacted with a pacific cold front.

Summary of events for May 15 1998:A line of strong to severe thunderstorms that originally developed over the Texas panhandle moved eastward into Osage and Pawnee Counties around 600 AM CDT on the morning of May 15. This line quickly swept across northeast Oklahoma to the north of I-44 as an upper level system moving northeastward from New Mexico interacted with a pacific cold front. This line of storms weakened as it moved east of Washington County. These storms produced marginally severe wind and hail.
