The Scioto River rose out of its banks at Circleville and Piketon. At Circleville, the river crested at 16.9 feet around 600 am EST on the 18th. Flood stage is 14.0 feet. At Piketon, the river crested at an estimated 21.0 feet around 700 pm EST on the 17th. The flooding was limited to agricultural areas and bottomland areas. Also, backwater flooding into area creeks occurred.
