Heavy thunderstorm rain caused flooding of many roads and low lying areas and also deposited rocks in some spots across Interstate 90 in the northern portion of the county. In Vermilion, State Routes 60 and 2 had one foot of water standing in places. In the city of Lorain, State Routes 254 and 57 also were covered in spots with one foot of water and some shops had 18 inches of standing water. In Birmingham, Vermilion Road was flooded.
