Thunderstorms moved across the southern Lake Ontario counties during the early morning hours. The thunderstorms produced damaging winds which downed trees and power lines. Several thousand customers were left without power for several hours. Winds were estimated in some areas at 60-70 mph. In Sodus, a home was damaged by a large falling tree.
