Hail size ranged from .75 inch in diameter in the Woodland neighborhood on the northeast side of the city to 3.5 inches in Lincoln Park in West Duluth. The hail caused considerable damage to vehicles, roofs, gardens, and patio furniture. The dollar amount of property damage is an estimate based on insurance claims.
