The Illinois State Police reported that a small tornado struck the Belleview area about 420 pm. Numerous trees were snapped off or uprooted along Sterns Hollow Road.

The Illinois State Police reported that a small tornado struck the Belleview area about 420 pm. Numerous trees were snapped off or uprooted along Sterns Hollow Road. One home had minor damage caused by flying tree limbs. The tornado moved east northeast and struck again along Johnson Hollow Road. Numerous trees were downed, one garage was destroyed, and a couple of homes suffered minor roof damage.
