Thunderstorms produced damaging winds. Power lines were downed in Boone County. A 67 mph wind gust was reported at Woodstock, 60 mph at Volo Bog, 68 mph at Lake Villa and 65 to 70 mph at Mundelein. In Antioch a 4 foot diameter tree fell on a house and four 50 foot, 60 year old ash trees were blown down. At Fox Lake two 85 foot poplar trees were downed. In Mundelein branches were knocked down.
