Thunderstorms produced heavy rainfall amounts that caused many streets in Mt. Carmel to flood. A few streets remained under water for more than 12 hours. Several cars were stranded. Outside the city, some county roads were under water. Rainfall in Mt. Carmel was 3.65 inches for the evening of the 15th.
