Slow moving thunderstorms produced heavy rain and hail 1/2 inch diameter in the vicinity of the town of Eads. Doppler radar estimated rainfall rates of 2 inches per hour. Several streets in Eads were flooded, closing them for approximately 1 hour until the flood waters receded, and a viaduct was flooded with several feet of water.
