A thunderstorm spawned a funnel cloud over eastern sections of the city of Long Beach. The funnel cloud affected homes on Ultimo and Los Altos streets. One home suffered significant damage when a acacia tree fell onto the house. Ten other homes suffered minor damage including shattered windows and smashed fences.
