Two severe thunderstorms developed in eastern Utah on this date. With the first a wind gust to 72 mph (63 kts) was measured on the Price ASOS. No damage was reported with that storm. The second blew a camper off a pickup truck on US HWY-6 about 20 miles northwest of Green River. An off-duty forecaster travelling through the area witnessed this and estimated the wind gust to be about 70 mph (61 kts).
