Thunderstorms developed over southern Utah. One storm moved through Escalante producing 1" diameter hail and causing minor damage. Another storm produced 1.08" of rain in 30 minutes in the town of Kanab. Minor flooding occurred on SR-11 from Kanab to the Arizona border. Water up to 6" high was on the roadway during this time.
