The runoff from the above normal snowpack in the northern Utah mountains caused flooding along several rivers during the second-half of May. Sandbagging efforts minimized what could have resulted in a costly spring runoff season. Flooding occurred during this time along the Ogden, Logan, and Blacksmith Fork Rivers as well as on Spring Creek. In the Birch Glen, Country Meadows and Country Manor subdivisions homes were flooded. Several campground areas, residential yards and agricultural lands were also impacted by this flooding.
