A tornado developed in Crockett County near the town of Alamo. A long porch from a brick house was ripped off. The tornado continued northeast into Gibson county. Several business were damaged and a storage shed was destroyed as the tornado moved through the county. The tornado then reached Carroll county where it reached its peak intensity. Significant damage occurred in the town of McKenzie. Sixty-seven homes and ten businesses were damaged or destroyed. Four people were injured as well.
