The northeast part of the county was hit by strong thunderstorm winds from the Tarlton area to Beersheba Springs. Newspaper accounts reported 2 homes were damaged when trees fell on them on Highway 56.Also, strong winds destroyed a building at Hillis Nursery on Highway 56.
