The Boulder City Police Department reported flood waters had closed Georgia Street and Riviera Court and Buchanan and Broadmore. Also, an 11 year old boy was caught in a drainage ditch by flood waters and had to be rescued. The exact time was unknown. He escaped with only minor injuries. The flood waters also damaged the Georgia Avenue drainage channel and washed away dirt fill which set back repair efforts to roads from a recent flash flood event.
