A funnel cloud was observed by a trained spotter just northeast of Sikeston. The brief funnel cloud was not produced by a supercell thunderstorm. It was a gustnado type of phenomenon caused by the interaction of thunderstorm outflow boundaries. No confirmations of a touchdown were received. No damage was reported.
