Rainfall of 3 to 5 inches caused widespread flash flooding across the area. The Franklin County sheriff reported Highway H closed with the Boone Bridge underwater. Numerous county roads went underwater in Jefferson County, with one rescue needed after a pick-up truck was swept off a road by a flooded creek. In Potosi, Washington County, some homes had to be evacuated due to the flooding of a creek in town. The Red Cross opened an emergency shelter over the weekend. In Warren County, small creeks rose over their banks flooding county roads.
