A thunderstorm produced a downpour of rain in Hingham which totaled 1.25 inches in about 40 minutes. Streets were flooded by sudden heavy rain in the neighboring town of Weymouth. A SKYWARN observer reported penny size hail in Weymouth. Later in the afternoon, large branches were reported down and twenty small trees were bent over in a wooded area of Pembroke. Various size limbs were downed in Hanson. Another thunderstorm dropped penny size hail in West Roxbury.
