Thunderstorms dumped very heavy rain over the region, causing street flooding in the usual flood-prone spots. A spotter measured about 1.5 inches in 90 minutes. Radar estimated up to 3 inches fell in a very local area. About a half dozen streets were either barricaded or marked with signs because of the flooding.
