Tornado in Kansas, July 27, 1997
The tornado along its narrow west-southwest to east-northeast path damaged several out buildings, peeled the shingles off at least two houses and blew in the garage door of one of the houses. It also knocked down several utility poles and large trees.

The tornado along its narrow west-southwest to east-northeast path damaged several out buildings, peeled the shingles off at least two houses and blew in the garage door of one of the houses. It also knocked down several utility poles and large trees. A board from one of the out buildings was driven into a downed utility pole.
