Strong thunderstorm winds downed many tree limbs, large trees and power lines. In Bolingbrook, at the corner of Rt. 53 and Briarcliff Rd.,a McDonald's restaurant sign was knocked down. Also on Rt. 53, a muffler shop suffered sign, roof and gutter damage and lost a portion of its back wall.
