A line of severe thunderstorms moved rapidly east across the area. Thunderstorms produced high winds that downed numerous tree limbs in Darien and on US 1 along the Norwalk, Westport border.Another severe thunderstorm produced high winds that downed trees in Darien. A large pine tree fell on and damaged the roof of Tokeneke School.
