Damaging wind and hail struck portions of western Logan and northern Washington Counties. Several trees and power lines were downed, roofs and siding damaged and windows broken. Near Prewitt Reservoir, 18 miles northwest of Akron, a pole shed was pulled off its foundation and tossed. In addition, a large grain truck, gas tanks, a cattle trailer, feeder and stock tank were damaged.
