Another tornado developed just south of the College Station storm, near the Sweet Home area. The tornado traveled northeastward, damaging several buildings. Some trees and power lines were also blown down. The tornado lifted soon after crossing the Arkansas River near the intersection of I-440 and Highway 165. Damage along the tornado's path was consistent with an F2 rating.
