Spotter reported numerous trees were blown down, roofs damaged, and power poles downed. Some streets had to be closed due to live wires down across the roads. A tin roof completely lifted off an adobe home and was dumped into yard. The spotter observed sheet metal flying past his window during the storm.
Sand bags were used on Main Street due to one to two feet of water flowing across the road. Weather spotter recorded 2.5 inches of rain from the storm.
Thunderstorm winds blew down 16 power poles near the intersection of Scottsdale Road and Sweetwater Avenue.
