A severe thunderstorm ripped through the Prince William Co Fairgrounds during the weekend of the Sugarloaf Art Fair, knocking down a portion of the main tent which housed 118 vendors. Half of the booths were damaged, and most of the crafts at those booths destroyed.

A severe thunderstorm ripped through the Prince William Co Fairgrounds during the weekend of the Sugarloaf Art Fair, knocking down a portion of the main tent which housed 118 vendors. Half of the booths were damaged, and most of the crafts at those booths destroyed. Damage to goods alone was estimated at $100 thousand.
