Severe storms affected Lubbock, Lynn, Crosby, and Floyd Counties on the evening of the 9th. Large hail was reported by the public in New Home, and by off-duty NWS employees in/near Lubbock. A shed was blown onto a road and trees were damaged by thunderstorm winds near the Slide community, and trees were downed in Lorenzo.
