Widespread flooding was reported in streets and yards. Also the Fire Hall was flooded.The weather maps showed a stationary front in the southern Panhandle with the dry line extending southward through the western Permian Basin and into the Big Bend. Storms over much of the region were splitting with the left-movers/northern cells being more powerful. Strong outflows were common with many of the storms that were seen as outflow boundaries that criss-crossed the WSR-88D monitor.
