Heavy rains from training thunderstorm dumped copious amounts of water over portions of Gaines County. The two major U.S. Highways in the county were covered with water. Three miles east of Seminole U.S. Highway 180 was 2 feet deep. Between Seminole and Seagraves as much of 7 inches of rain was measured. One Building west of Seminole had minor flooding when water seeped under the doors.
