On the afternoon of May 2nd scattered convective showers developed over Western Oregon and produced small hail. In Sweet Home part of a metal roof was ripped off of a bus garage by a wind gust. A witness at the scene reported seeing what she described as a "dust devil" immediately after the damage occurred.
