Severe thunderstorms developed in Osage and Pawnee Counties in northeast Oklahoma during the evening of June 16th. Thunderstorm winds gusted to 70 miles an hour in Ralston, 5 miles north of Pawnee, and in Hominy, and to 65 miles an hour just northwest of Pawnee and at an automated observing site 3 miles northeast of Pawnee.

Thunderstorm winds gusted to 70 miles an hour in Ralston, 5 miles north of Pawnee, and in Hominy, and to 65 miles an hour just northwest of Pawnee and at an automated observing site 3 miles northeast of Pawnee. Dime size hail fell 5 miles north of Pawnee.
