The Mahoning River at Leavittsburg exceeded flood stage of 10 feet and crested at 14.1 feet on 12/1000 EST. Considerable flooding of low lying areas occurred as well as flooding on a few secondary roads along the river. High water surrounded several homes and structures. The steel mills along the river used pumps to keep operations from flooding.
