Slow moving thunderstorms dumped up to 4 inches of rain over Douglas County. This caused numerous streets, roads, and highways to be flooded. Hwy 130 was closed for awhile and sustained some damage due to the flooding. In Villa Grove, several tributaries to the Embarras River overflowed their banks causing damage to 10 homes. Also, in Tuscola one car dealership sustained damage due to the flooding, as well as, 7 cars on the dealership lot. No injuries were reported and no damage estimate was available.
