Baseball size hail dented hundreds of vehicles and broke many windshields. Most damage estimates ranged from 2,000 to 4,000 dollars per vehicle. At one greenhouse in Mt. Carmel, thousands of glass panes were broken at a cost of 75,000 dollars.
