Thunderstorm winds blew down numerous trees and limbs. Treesfell on at least two vehicles. Baseball dugouts and chain link fencing were destroyed at a recreational complex. Trees snapped power poles and power lines causing almost 3500 reports of power outages. Most damage occurred on highway 293 in Cassville. In Cartersville, winds estimated up to 60 mph knocked a tree down on Railroad Street and pushed full garbage cans from in front of a store into the street. Bartow county 911 reported lots of trees down in Emerson.
