Thunderstorm winds toppled 30 trees in the Squaw Creek Cabin group on the upper Clark's Fork River. That area is 35 miles northwest of Cody. Two cabins were damaged by falling trees.

Damage was extensive in Moorcroft due to strong thunderstorm winds. Two-thirds of the roof at the high school was severely damaged. Also, many trees and mainly small buildings were damaged. A grainery filled with grain was lifted off the grain near Rozet and landed one-half mile away. In addition, three telephone poles were knock over by the winds near Moorcroft.
