As a cold front pushed through northern Utah, a tornado is thought to have moved through Pleasant View. Witnesses described a freight train sound, and the damage was in a hit or miss fashion. Damage included a 12 to 18-inch diameter tree that was snapped (not uprooted), shingles blown off of several roofs, windows and doors damaged on two homes under construction, three large pine trees nearly uprooted, and a destroyed metal shed. The width of the tornado was unknown.
