Severe thunderstorms moved across northeast Oklahoma during the late evening of September 6th and early morning of September 7th. Strong thunderstorm winds blew a barn down one mile south of Terlton, and a vehicle was damaged six miles north of Pawhuska when several large tree limbs were blown down onto the vehicle. A few trees and numerous large tree limbs were blown down in Mannford, where thunderstorm winds gusted to 60 mph. Thunderstorm winds also gusted to 60 mph 1.5 miles northwest of Pawhuska, in Pawhuska, in Cleveland, in Sand Springs, and in Jenks. Nickel-size hail fell two miles northwest of Pawhuska and 1.5 miles northwest of Pawhuska. The thunderstorms also produced very heavy rainfall in northwest Osage County. Three to four inches of rain fell in Grainola which resulted in street flooding.
