A tornado touched down along an intermittant path in a subdivision on the southeast edge of Baton Rouge. The tornado tore the roof off one house, and caused a house under construction to collapse. A car was also damaged when a garage door was blown in, and there were reports of trees and powerlines blown down. Torrential rain accompanied the tornado with significant street flooding. Damage cost estimated.

Thunderstorm wind gusts caused damage to three buildings, with two of the buildings suffering significant roof damage. Windows were also blown out of several commercial buildings, a number of trees were toppled by the high wind.
