Heavy rains hit the Pocatello area once again. Two miles northeast of Pocatello .40" fell in 20 minutes and in Pocatello .55" fell in 30 minutes. These rains flooded the Center Street underpass causing damage to the city landfill. Later 1.6" fell in one hour in Rockland. Another severe thunderstorm produced .75" hail almost two inches deep along Toponce Canyon road five miles west of Chesterfield.
