One 19-year-old male was injured when a tree fell on him as he was trying to take shelter. Two more people were injured when trees fell onto their cars.

A National Weather Service employee reported a one-quarter-mile pile of trees were snapped in half, trees were one to two feet in diameter. Winds were estimated at 70 mph. Elsewhere in the county two workers were injured when the house they were constructing was knocked over by thunderstorm winds. Three people were also injured by a large tree limb which fell onto their car. One home in the Thomas Overby subdivision suffered slight damage and a car parked nearby was destroyed when a tree fell on them.
