Winds gusted to 64 knots at the Jacksonville International Airport. Trees were uprooted on Old St. Augustine Road. JEA reported more than 20,000 customers lost power during the storm, with most of the outages on the south and west sides of Jacksonville.
Tornado downed trees, damaged one home, and several autos at Point Pleasant Road and San Jose; then moved east across a marsh just north of JT Butler Boulevard.
Several reports of large trees and power lines blown down, across the northern portion of the county.
